Spotlight: This one’s for Puck by A Wilderness of Words

Dear Writers: Glancing at the title of this blog from A Wilderness of Words, I assumed it would be a romp through Shakespeare, which of course sounds interesting anytime. Instead, this Puck is his own person, beautifully described by his sister. Saying more would give away too much, so I’ll just say I’ve read it three times and it’s a piece of writing that sticks with me for a few different reasons.
Dear Laurel Leigh, thank you for pointing us in the right direction. That story is staying with me for a while.
Hi Naomi,
I’m so glad you saw it. I agree–it’s a keeper of a story. Hope your day is going great. I was just on your site staring at your lovely pics. I had one of those striped bright Mexican blankets that sacrificed its life when my sewer pipe broke, and I still miss it–the blanket not the pipe.
My mom bought me one in 1966 that I loved. It decorated my walls for two decades, but mysteriously disappeared when we moved. I haven’t replaced it, because the new ones are too neon for me. But I haven’t given up hope of finding it either. One of these decades…
It will be that perfect blanket to search for – and the search is way more fun anyway. 🙂
I suspect there is a very dense undiscovered Black Hole in our storage room downstairs. One day, I will go on an explore!
Your comment made me snort-laugh.
🙂
This is so very kind of you, Laurel. Thank you!!
It’s a beautiful story and I appreciated the chance to read it. Congratulations on a lovely blog as well. Keep up the great work!
