Dear Writers,

Last night’s open mic started the year right! We had an awesome crowd and heard some wonderful stories, poems and essays that had everyone alternately laughing or thoughtful. The talent in this county is truly amazing. Thanks to everyone who came out to join in a great evening. The next open mic is February 27; bring your Valentine tales of the beloved, the unloved, the undead—or any creative work in progress. And sign up early! Last night there was a waiting list to read.
